MEET THE TEAM

Kirsty Davies
Business Owner & Dog Walker
Hi, I'm Kirsty and I am the owner of Kirsty's Dog Walking.
Having lived in Claygate all my life, I have recently moved to Hampton Court, East Molesey.
Growing up, I constantly begged my parents for a dog, adding 'a puppy' to my birthday and Christmas list each year! We finally welcomed our lovely Cocker Spaniel, Morag, when I was 11 years old and she was the most wonderful part of our family for just over twelve years.
I am now the owner of two gorgeous (but sassy!) miniature dachshunds called Nala (10) and Twiggy (8). They are my little shadows, always looking for cuddles and fiercely loyal.
In January 2022, Nala suffered from Grade 5 IVDD, a severe spinal injury and, following major surgery, she was paralysed from the waist down for almost two months. However, her determination combined with a lot of physio and love and encouragement, enabled her to learn how to walk again (albeit very wobbly!). Nala is an incredible and inspiring little dog, and is loving having her independence back again. This ongoing experience has taught me a lot - the resilience and bravery dogs possess, but also their astounding ability to be able to understand when we are trying to help them. Practically, I am well trained in the dispensing of medication and how to manage severe mobility issues, so please do get in touch if you are struggling to find someone who understands this kind of injury.
I set up Kirsty's Dog Walking because I absolutely love being outdoors, and am most happy when out walking with dogs of all different breeds and ages! I look forward to hearing from you!

Emma Dalziel
Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
Hi, I’m Emma!
I’ve grown up in an animal loving family, with my family owning cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and then myself having rats. My cousins owned dogs so I’ve been around animals for a long time.
I joined the Horse Rangers when I was 10 years old and my love of horses went though four years of equine courses at college, and onto 10 years in a riding school and livery yard. I now own my own horse and am happily again, surrounded by animals.
I grew up in Teddington and now live in West Molesey and am always outside in all weathers! I walk dogs for Kirsty’s Dog Walking Tuesdays-Thursdays and love spending time with my weekly regulars and meeting new furry faces when helping out with cover.

Ria Richardson
Dog Walker & Pet sitter
Hi, I’m Ria!
I’ve been a lover of animals and the outdoors for as long as I can remember. I’ve previously owned horses from the age of 11 to my early 20’s and spent a lot of those years competing in show jumping competitions.
I’ve grown up around dogs + cats too and I’ve previously owned two German shepherds, Alfie and Koda. I’ve also owned a ragdol cat (Bleu) So I have experience with both, of different breeds and sizes. I often dog sit for friends and family in my spare time as there’s no better company than dogs.
I’ve never felt completely satisfied in any job until I found Kirsty’s dog walking. Now I get to spend all my free time being outdoors, enjoying my days with my new fury friends.
When I’m not walking dogs I’m either working my personal assistant carer job, at the gym or switching off with some drawing/colouring.

Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
Hi, I’m Sam!
I grew up with dogs and cats running around the house, and also rabbits and hamsters to look after. Since meeting my husband 30 years ago, who is also an avid animal lover, we have loved and cherished 6 cats, 4 dogs, and Sir Hamilton the hamster!
Our dogs included 2 English Bulldogs who were our most recent babies; Dexter and Coco who both made it to the amazing age of 13 1/2, but very sadly passed away recently after a happy and loved life. We also previously owned Abby a loving adorable red retriever, and an excited energetic chow-terrier mix called Jessie!
During my past corporate job life in Los Angeles, I also volunteered at a Wildlife rescue / sanctuary, where there were possoms, tigers, wolves, bears, and monkeys, who unfortunately could not be rehabilitated back into the wild.
Animals are my biggest passion and my true happy place in life. I absolutely love taking care of them, and the smiles, joy, love and happiness they give us.
In my spare time I go to the gym, play tennis and enjoy spending time on our boat.

Sally Taylor
Hello, I'm Sally!
The most important thing to know about me is my love of dogs. I feel very confident with all kinds of dogs and feel I have a great understanding of them.
Having dogs all my life, and having gained experience from working with the rehabilitation and rehoming of dogs from when I Iived in Hong Kong, your dog will be in good hands.
I spend lots of time outdoors with my golden retriever pup Comet, my whippet Gypsy and my Lurcher Skye.
When I am not walking dogs, I love being with my family on our boat, and finding new adventures.
I can't wait to meet you and your dogs soon xxx

Hi I’m Orla!
I’m a part time dog walker and pet sitter. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved animals and always have wanted to help them. I’ve recently qualified as a Veterinary Nurse and have volunteered out in South Africa helping the local communities and animals out there!
I have two horses named Bea and Tom and a one eyed rescue cat at home called Oreo. I have a lot of experience with all different types and temperament of dogs and love creating a friendship and bond full of love and fun with them. When I’m not out walking I spend my time riding and working in the gym on my powerlifting journey!

Lucy Ayres
Dog Walker
Hi I’m Lucy
I’m a dog walker /daytime sitter for Kirsty's Dog Walking.
I grew up in an animal loving household with our family dog, a golden retriever and as soon as I had my own home I got my two very mischievous lemon beagles, Honey and Bella who are both 5 now. We also have our 12 year old cat George, so a very busy household! I also rescued and rehabilitated an 8-week old Bully puppy, which all of my children adored.
I love to be outdoors and taking my family on walks with our own dogs so walking for Kirsty is the perfect job for me.
Large breed dogs are my passion and raising one myself has given me plenty of experience with strong lead pullers, reactivity and muzzling.

Sasha Newton
Hi, I’m Sasha :)
Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I was lucky enough to have all sorts of pets, and I even spent time volunteering on a farm!
My home is ruled by two rescue dogs and two rescue cats, and I wouldn't have it any other way! They've taught me that every pet has their own little quirks and personality, which is one of the things I love most about working with animals. Adopting rescue animals has taught me so much about patience and trust. Watching their confidence grow has been so rewarding.
I know our pets are part of the family, and that's exactly how I'll treat yours. I look forward to meet you and your four-legged friends! :)

Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
Dogs are my absolute favourite animal and the bond they create with humans are so special. I have a dog called Morvan, and she is honestly my best friend!
I have over 7 years experience of working with dogs as well as cats and other small animals.
I absolutely love walking dogs, being outdoors with them in the fresh air and providing them with plenty of affection and enriching play.
When I'm not walking dogs, I enjoy spending time with friends, gaming or going to the gym.
